Understanding and Implementing Visual Structure for ASC pupils

Course aims:

• To develop a clear and practical understanding of the four core components of visual structure: the physical environment, visual schedules, work systems, and visual prompts.
• To build confidence in designing and implementing structured learning environments, including the effective use of workstations and independent tray-based tasks to promote pupil independence.
• To provide opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting, through direct interaction with pupils with a wide range of cognitive abilities and communication needs, enabling reflection on and refinement of practice.

THIS IS A TWO DAY COURSE:

Tuesday 6th October -9.30am - 3.30pm

Thursday 8th October - 9.30am - 3.30pm    

Attendance to both days is compulsory.

Subsidised course: £150 per person. Lunch provided
